 Although quality trees may far exceed the life expectancy of humans, they do not live forever. Unfortunately, trees often need to be removed. They may be dead or declining, may have blown over in a storm, or simply need to be removed due to construction nearby. Whenever a tree must be removed, SAFETY is always the paramount issue – to buildings, other trees, landscaping, and most of all people. Trees are unbelievably heavy, and proper tree removal takes specialized training and equipment. It is not a job for the average homeowner!

At Master Tree Care, we have years of experience in safely taking down hundreds of trees of all sizes. Once the decision has been made to remove a tree, we begin by carefully analyzing the tree, including its soundness, and formulate a plan to safely remove it without damage to surrounding facilities or to our own crew. Large limbs often have to be lowered individually, which requires specialized rigging equipment.

We remove all brush, running the limbs through a powerful commercial chipper. The large pieces of the trunk are hauled off, and the whole yard is raked thoroughly. Our goal is to leave your yard cleaner than when we arrived!

Many homeowners prefer to have the stump completely removed, so that there is no trace left of the tree. An ugly stump in an otherwise beautiful landscape seems out of place. We grind the stump down below ground level (usually 5 or 6 inches deep) so that sod can be laid or grass can grow over the spot where the tree used to be.
